Katarina Malmgren, Associate Manager, Research, supports the research team at CEP in designing studies, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing reports.

Prior to joining CEP in March 2020, Katarina worked at Kharon, a research and data analytics company that uses open-source research to provide sanctions-related intelligence to financial services firms and other multinational institutions. Katarina studied economics at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., where she also had the opportunity to work with organizations such as DC Reads and the Global Fairness Initiative. In her free time. Katarina enjoys listening to live music with friends, eating seafood, and reading detective novels.
