Prior to joining CEP, she worked as a software engineer and data analyst. She has also worked as a math teacher and served with the Peace Corps. Manaal graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education from the University of Rhode Island. In her spare time she enjoys baking, cooking, crochet, learning languages (both human and computer) as well as contributing to open-source projects.
