DESCRIPTION:BREAKOUT SESSION: FUNDING NONPROFIT ENDOWMENTS AS AN EQUITY STRATEGY\nFunding nonprofit endowments can ensure the stability of an organization as well as advance equity and shift power to frontline organizations. However\, little is known about the degree to which foundations engage in funding nonprofit endowments or about attitudes of foundation leaders on this topic. This session will inform discussions in the philanthropic space about endowment grantmaking\, including the role endowments can play in promoting equity.
