As Kevin Bolduc discussed in a series of blog posts late last year, we practice what we preach in terms of using feedback to improve our work.
It had become clear that the regular users of our assessment tools very much want the ability to customize the analysis and display of the data they collect through our surveys. So we set out to develop a new way to deliver our reports that would provide this level of control to the funders that commission them.
After a few months of partnership with ThoughtWorks—a company working to provide cutting-edge software solutions to organizations aimed at affecting positive social change—we have arrived at an online reporting system that we believe goes a long way toward achieving that goal.
Watch the short video below for a brief illustration of how the online reporting system presents data from grantee surveys in this new interactive format.
In addition, we’ve updated our survey and methodology. Now, CEP can do more than ever to gather and analyze results by categories of grantees or donors funders find most meaningful. And we’ve added questions to the survey on important topics such as funder transparency, social media, and funder support of grantees in their efforts to develop useful information about the results of foundation-funded work.
We’re confident that foundations of all sizes will find improved value in feedback from important internal and external partners as they use this system to slice and dice, comparing results in new ways.
Released ahead of our initial schedule, this online system is available to all funders commissioning Grantee and Donor Perception Reports in the summer of 2013 and for Staff Perception Report users later this year.
To hear more about our new online report, schedule a more in-depth personal demo, or learn about our grantee, donor, or staff surveys, please contact a CEP Tools manager.
