Leaha focuses on talent acquisition, learning, management, culture, and belonging. A certified diversity practitioner through the Society for Diversity Certification, Leaha oversees the diversity and inclusion strategy at CEP in partnership with the President and senior leadership. Leaha is also a passionate trainer, facilitator, and coach. She is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and is a certified coach through The Academies, LLC, focused on career management, executive leadership, and strengths application.
An avid believer in the importance of equipping emerging leaders with opportunities for skill building and network development, Leaha has served in various leadership roles within the nonprofit sector outside of CEP, most notably on the boards of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Boston and the Junior League of Boston.
Leaha has spoken about diversity, equity, and inclusion in multiple venues, including the Change Philanthropy Unity Summit, the United Philanthropy Forum Conference, Young Nonprofit Network’s National Conference, and the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network Annual Conference. Her writing has been featured on Idealist Careers, Work for Good, and Alliance Magazine.
Before landing in the nonprofit sector, Leaha previously had short stints in corporate litigation and classical archaeology. She attended Harvard College for her B.A., concentrating in Classics, and received a certificate in nonprofit management and leadership from the Institute of Nonprofit Practice as a part of their Community Fellows Program with Tufts University.
Outside of work, you can find Leaha traveling, hiking, or curling up with a good book, especially historical fiction, cross-cultural classical literature, or dystopian novels.
