Dani (they/them) supports the research team at CEP in designing studies, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing reports.
Prior to joining CEP, Dani spent three years working in federal oversight and policy research at the Government Accountability Office. They reviewed nuclear waste cleanup, the administration of healthcare to active-duty and veteran servicemembers, and Medicare reimbursement rates. During that time, Dani traveled across the country to interview government officials, while also working to incorporate the voices of community stakeholders into reports. Before working at the Government Accountability Office, Dani graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied economics and public policy. Outside of classes, they also received national recognition as a collegiate trial advocate.
Dani lives in San Francisco with their partner and three-year-old Siamese cat. In their free time, they coach high school and college students in public speaking and trial advocacy. You can catch Dani soaking up the sun in one of the city’s many urban parks, sometimes with a book or even a sketchpad.
