Heather helps schools across the country drive change through student and community feedback.

Prior to joining YouthTruth, Heather developed and ran educational programming across diverse STEM learning spaces including building robust career pathways into the tech sector and partnering with Bay Area schools to implement outdoor environmental science programming. She has a degree in Environmental Sciences from Willamette University in Salem, OR; the place that kickstarted her love of education and working closely with students, educators, and school communities.

Heather now lives in Oakland, CA where you can find her spending time with family and friends, wandering the aisles of grocery stores for fun cooking ingredients, or hiking with her cat Franklin.
