Rihab Babiker

Vice President, Finance and Operations

Rihab works closely with the President on CEP’s finances and operations, ensuring accurate and useful financial reporting and modeling to guide decision-making, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organization.

Rihab is a seasoned financial and managerial expert with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Before joining CEP, Rihab was the associate director of finance and operations at Harvard University’s Center for International Development. As the associate director, she developed the Center’s first finance and operations unit, worked closely with the Center’s executive director to advance the Center’s strategic direction, and was vital in the recruitment of key staff. Prior to her work at Harvard, she spent a decade working in a variety of finance and operations roles for the United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP), and was based in over five countries. Rihab holds a Masters in Managerial Finance from The Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Studies in Amman, Jordan and a BA in Finance and Banking from Al alBayt University in Mafraq, Jordan.
