Rihab Babiker

Vice President, Finance, Operations, and Technology

Rihab works closely with the President on CEP’s finances, operations, and technology, ensuring accurate and useful financial reporting and modeling to guide decision-making and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organization. She also leads efforts to strengthen CEP’s infrastructure and supports the team in leveraging technology to advance the organization’s mission.

Rihab is a seasoned financial and managerial expert with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Before joining CEP, Rihab was the Associate Director of Finance and Operations at Harvard University’s Center for International Development. Prior to her work at Harvard, she spent a decade working in a variety of finance and operations roles for the United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP) and was based in over five countries.

Originally from Sudan and having spent her formative years in various countries, Rihab brings a rich cultural perspective to her work. Her international experience has given her a deep appreciation for diversity, inclusion, and cultural intelligence. Passionate about mentoring emerging leaders, particularly women, Rihab believes in the power of inclusive leadership and strives to lead by example.
