John Muñoz, Ph.D., Manager, Research, manages research projects and works on the creation, development, analysis, and release of various research reports for CEP.

Before joining CEP in 2023, John directed research projects for YouGov, and, in graduate school, both taught courses and published in academic journals on the topics of quantitative analysis and social movements. While in graduate school, he was a Teaching Consultant for the Center for Teaching and Learning, a Statistical Software Consultant for the Social Science Data and Software Center, and a mentor for multiple programs. John received a PhD in Sociology from Stanford University and a BA in Sociology and Political Science from UNC at Chapel Hill.

Outside of work, John enjoys all things tea, book clubs, way too many podcasts, and sports.
