COMING SOON – Giving Big: The Impact of Large, Unrestricted Gifts on Nonprofits
Look for the Center for Effective Philanthropy’s new research, out Nov. 15, on the impact of the large, unrestricted gifts that have made MacKenzie Scott’s approach to giving remarkable. The forthcoming report represents the first in a three-year study that will examine the impacts of Scott’s giving as well as the ways in which nonprofit recipients have used those grants — and why — and probe any unintended consequences of the sizeable gifts.
In addition, CEP will host a webinar on Nov. 15 to present the results of the study and invite discussion from leaders of organizations that have received Scott’s grants as well as funders of the study. Moderated by CEP’s Phil Buchanan, the webinar will feature:
